Though I’m a writer first and a designer by profession, I’ve also long been big into music both as a medium for expression, a subject to write about and a source of inspiration. I was obsessed with music making as a young person and later, cut my journalism teeth doing music coverage.

Earlier this year I launched a new electronic music project called EYE-80, after the freeway I grew up on, on SoundCloud. Recent audio production work has brought me back to sound as a medium, and I’ve been making interstitial music for podcasts. Outside of that, I’ve been experimenting with both acoustic and synth sounds.

So far this is a solo project, but I’d love to collaborate with others and plan on doing so.
