I write fiction, essays, and poetry and have completed full-length novel and screenplay manuscripts. Recently I have refocused my efforts on short fiction.

In 2015, I launched a blog that serves as a notebook on my technology work, called Forwardslash. From 2011 – 2014 much of my time went into writing and editing an online travel and culture magazine, Creosote Journal. From 2005 – 2007 I did freelance writing for the Sacramento News and Review, and interned with their news department.

Over the years I’ve written for a handful of other online or print publications, including: The San Francisco Public Press, Midtown Monthly, Ashcan Magazine, and Right Hand Pointing.

I appeared at the Why There Are Words reading series in Sausalito in March 2010. I have been a featured reader at the Peninsula Literary Series in Palo Alto and at the releases of journals in which my work appeared.
